UPDATE to my original review. We had Donnie and his team do a second job for us and it was as fantastic as the first time around. His crew was very professional and polite, and they did an amazing job ripping off old vinyl siding and replacing it with new beautiful vinyl. I highly recommend A1 Roofing and Construction! Donnie Long and his A-1 team performed an amazing roofing job on our house. Tear off of the old; replaced with a modern, beautiful roof! I was impressed with the new patio roof A 1 roofing installed. Great Price for Excelent Quality material and experts in each stage of building from building the roof, to shingles on top, to siding. I am very pleased, and my neighbors are impressed on what a change it made. It looks like it it is original to the house, it was done so well.

I contacted A-1 Roofing in Dec of 2021 to get an estimate. I had the estimate within 24 hours. I obtained two additional quotes, but decided to use A-1. As soon as I was ready to have it done, they jumped on it! They showed up on time, completed everything quickly, and cleaned up so well that you couldn’t tell they were even here. Donnie installed a roof top solar attic fan for at Holden beach. Amazing job, got it done quickly and in a time frame between renters. Very affordable price. So satisfied with his help. Also discovered missing shingles and a rotten piece plywood and also did that repair at same time! It was a corner spot that we had trouble with before( done by different roofer). We called A1 Roofing to have extra vents put in the roof and a roof leak repair. Donnie answered right away and came over and completed the work the very same day! Our experience in the past couple years is that you do good with most places to get a return call, and then they may or may not show up! It was so refreshing not to have to wait weeks or months to get something done.

A1 was courteous, efficient and communicated well. They did minor repair on my roof and quoted me for a full job at a later date which I plan to use them for and I would recommend them to a friend. When the job was done my gutters were clean and my driveway and walkway blown off as well. They accepted my credit card with a small fee which is very reasonable, we do this at my place of employment as well. 5 stars!
